Getting Started

Create your Danipa account, set up your profile, and get ready to send and receive money across Africa.

Welcome to Danipa

Danipa is your gateway to fast, secure, and affordable financial services across Africa. Whether you're sending money home, paying for goods, or managing your business, this guide will help you get started.

Download the App

Danipa is available on both iOS and Android:

You can also access Danipa through your web browser at app.danipa.com.

Create Your Account

  1. Open the Danipa app and tap Sign Up
  2. Enter your phone number — we'll send you a verification code via SMS
  3. Enter the 6-digit code to verify your number
  4. Set a strong password — at least 8 characters with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols
  5. Tap Create Account

Tip: Use the same phone number linked to your mobile money account for a smoother experience.

Set Up Your Profile

After creating your account, complete your profile:

  1. Full Name — enter your legal name as it appears on your ID
  2. Email Address — for transaction receipts and account recovery
  3. Country — select your country of residence
  4. Preferred Currency — choose your default currency (e.g., GHS, NGN, KES)

Your Wallet

Once your account is created, you'll automatically receive a Danipa Wallet in your country's default currency. Your wallet is where funds are stored before sending or after receiving money.

You can view your wallet balance on the home screen at any time.
