Mobile App Walkthrough
A screen-by-screen tour of the Danipa mobile app — learn where everything is and how to navigate with confidence.
Overview
This guide takes you through every major screen in the Danipa mobile app so you know exactly where to find what you need. Whether you just downloaded the app or want to discover features you haven't explored yet, this walkthrough has you covered.
Home Screen
The home screen is your central hub. Here's what you'll see:
Top Section
- Profile icon (top-left) — tap to access your profile and settings
- Notification bell (top-right) — shows unread alerts with a badge count
- Greeting — displays your name and a welcome message
Wallet Balance
Your primary wallet balance is displayed prominently in the center. You can:
- Tap the balance to show/hide the amount for privacy
- Swipe left/right to view balances in other currencies (if you have multiple wallets)
Quick Action Buttons
Four quick action buttons sit below your balance:

| Send | Start a money transfer |
| Add Money | Fund your wallet from mobile money or bank |
| Withdraw | Move funds to mobile money or bank |
| More | Access payment links, invoices, exchange rates, and other features |
Recent Transactions
A scrollable list of your latest transactions appears below the quick actions. Tap any transaction to see its full details.
Recent Recipients
Your most frequently used recipients are displayed as circular avatars. Tap one to start a transfer immediately.
Send Money Screen
When you tap Send, you'll see:
- Recipient field — enter a phone number, Danipa ID, or tap the contacts icon
- Recent Recipients — horizontally scrollable list of saved contacts
- Transfer type tabs:
- Domestic — send within your country
- International — send to another country
- Amount field — enter how much to send
- Currency toggle — switch between sending in your currency or the recipient's
- Fee breakdown — shows transfer fee and total debit
- Confirm button — review and authorize the transfer
Wallet Screen
Access via the Wallet tab in the bottom navigation:
Balance Overview
- Total balance across all currencies displayed at the top
- Individual currency wallets listed as cards below
For Each Wallet
Tap a currency wallet card to see:
- Available balance
- Pending transactions (money being sent or received)
- Recent activity for this currency
- Add Money and Withdraw buttons specific to this wallet
Currency Conversion
Tap Convert between any two wallets to exchange currencies at live rates.
Transactions Screen
Access via the Transactions tab in the bottom navigation:
Transaction List
All transactions displayed chronologically with:
- Icon showing the transaction type (send, receive, deposit, withdrawal)
- Recipient/sender name
- Amount (green for received, red for sent)
- Date and time
- Status indicator (completed, pending, failed)
Filters and Search
- Filter icon (top-right) — filter by type, date range, or status
- Search icon — find transactions by name, number, or reference
Transaction Detail
Tap any transaction to see:
- Full reference number
- Complete sender and recipient details
- Amount, fee, and net amount
- Exchange rate (for international transfers)
- Timestamp
- Status with timeline
- Download Receipt and Share buttons
More Screen
The More tab gives access to additional features:

Settings Screen
Tap your profile icon on the home screen or go to More → Settings:
Profile Section
- Personal info — name, email, phone, profile photo
- KYC status — your current verification tier with option to upgrade
- Preferred currency — your default wallet currency
- Language — change app language
Security Section
- Change password
- Transaction PIN — set or change your PIN
- Biometric login — enable fingerprint or face recognition
- Two-factor authentication — set up 2FA
- Active sessions — see and manage logged-in devices
- Lock account — emergency account freeze
Notifications Section
- Push notifications — toggle on/off for different alert types
- Email notifications — transaction receipts, weekly summaries
- SMS notifications — critical alerts
Support Section
- Help Center — browse FAQs and guides
- Contact Support — reach our support team
- Report an Issue — submit a bug report
- About — app version, terms, privacy policy
Bottom Navigation
The app has four main tabs at the bottom of the screen:
