Invite friends and family to Danipa and earn rewards when they sign up and make their first transaction.

Overview

The Danipa Referral Program lets you earn rewards by inviting people to join Danipa. When someone signs up using your referral link and completes their first transaction, you both earn a bonus.

How It Works

1. Share your referral link with friends and family
2. They sign up using your link
3. They complete KYC verification (at least Standard tier)
4. They make their first transaction (send, pay, or fund wallet — minimum GHS 10)
5. You both receive your reward

It's that simple.

Finding Your Referral Link

In the App

1. Go to More → Referrals
2. Your unique referral link is displayed
3. Options to share:
   • Copy Link — paste anywhere
   • WhatsApp — share directly
   • SMS — send via text message
   • Share — use your device's share menu
   • QR Code — let someone scan to sign up

Your Referral Code

You also have a short referral code (e.g., DANIPA-KWAME23) that friends can enter during signup instead of using the link.

1. Go to More → Referrals → Rewards
2. See a list of all rewards with:
   • Date earned
   • Referral name
   • Reward type
   • Amount

Terms and Conditions

Eligibility

• You must have a verified Danipa account (at least Standard KYC)
• The referred person must be a new user — they cannot already have a Danipa account
• Self-referrals are not allowed

Reward Conditions

• The referred person must complete KYC and their first transaction within 30 days of signing up
• Minimum first transaction is GHS 10 (or equivalent in their currency)
• Rewards are credited within 24 hours of the qualifying action
• Rewards are non-transferable but can be used for any transaction

Disqualification

Rewards may be withheld or reversed if:

• The referred account is fraudulent or created with fake information
• The referral was obtained through spam, misleading advertising, or incentivized sign-ups
• The referred person's first transaction is reversed or refunded

• Share with people who send money regularly — they'll see immediate value in Danipa
• Explain the benefits — lower fees, faster transfers, wallet features
• Share after a positive experience — just made a quick transfer? Tell your contact about it
• Use the QR code for in-person referrals — at work, social events, or community gatherings

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: When do I get my reward?

Within 24 hours of your referral completing their first qualifying transaction.

Q: What if my friend signs up but doesn't use my link?

They need to either use your link or enter your referral code during signup. If they sign up without it, the referral can't be tracked and no reward will be issued.

Q: Can I refer someone who deleted their account?

No. The program is for new users only. Previously registered phone numbers or emails are not eligible.

Q: Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?

You can refer up to 50 people per month. There's no lifetime cap.

Q: Can I use my referral rewards to send money?

Yes — referral rewards go straight to your wallet and can be used for any transaction, including sending money, paying bills, or withdrawing.
